Nasser Bourita, Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, today welcomed his counterpart, Mahamoud Ali Youssouf, Djibouti’s Foreign Minister, in Rabat to deliver a letter from President Ismaïl Omar Guellé to King Mohammed VI.
Bourita emphasized Djibouti’s key role in regional diplomacy, its steady and wise leadership, and its importance in strengthening Africa’s position.
He also highlighted that Morocco values Djibouti's diplomatic approach, noting its alignment with the efficiency and wisdom needed to tackle the challenges facing both Morocco and the African continent.
“Morocco sees this, from its momentum and diplomatic capital, with its calmness and wisdom, but also with its efficiency, which is exactly what Morocco and the African continent need in the current circumstances,” he stated.
