One Nation leader Pauline Hanson says billionaire Clive Palmer should “go and continue doing your deals with the Chinese, and leave politics to people who really care about this country”.
The former federal MP for the Palmer United Party is reportedly considering entering his party – now the Clive Palmer’s United Australia Party – in the upcoming Queensland state election.
Ms Hanson told Sky News host Peter Gleeson she is “not worried about Clive Palmer” as his previous form in politics has not been entirely fruitful.
In the 2019 federal election, Mr Palmer reportedly spent $60 million dollars with candidates in both chambers of parliament across the country, none of which were elected.
She said the billionaire mining magnate should leave politics for those who “want to do something for the Australian people”.
