💎The most beautiful road of my travel on a road trip in Romania, an enjoyable part of my Europe tours. The Transfagarasan is a spectacular twisting road through the Carpathian Mountains in Romania, and thanks to Top Gear, is one of Romania’s most popular destinations. This spectacular mountain pass, Romania’s second-highest paved mountain route, is a real treat for drivers as it passes dramatic forested mountains, alpine lakes, and historic castles, connecting north with south. It’s no surprise that Jeremy Clarkson (the famous Top Gear presenter) pronounced it “the best road in the world.” 🏔️🌳

💎This road trip takes place on the Southern side of Transfagarasan Highway close to Arges. That part of the road is famous for its' wonderful forest roads and beggar bears alongside the road. I encountered 3 bears during my short trip and you can witness them while watching. Transfagarasan Highway is only open for 4 months in a year. Drivers of this route mainly consist of tourists, bikers, and adventurers. Because Transfagarasan is meant for only scenic driving, not for going somewhere.🐻
