Hello everyone and welcome to the first of our XMas walkthroughs, Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy.

In this game we play as Jaden Kor, an enthusiastic wanna-be Jedi. He is selected out of a large group of potentials because he (or she) was able to build a light saber without any prior Jedi training, something thought to be impossible.

While on the way there he meets a kid named Rosh, also a soon to be Jedi who was selected. As they introduce themselves and shoot the breeze the transport they are on suddenly crash lands. Jaden and Rosh as seperated from the rest of the trainees and are forced to find their way to the Academy.

On their way the run into some Imperials, remnants of the once extremely powerful Empire, and a Sith. As Rosh doesn't have a light saber, Jaden must finish these intruders off. Jaden takes a look around and notices that there are some other people around at a near-by temple. He sneaks up on them and observes what they are doing. One of them, a female and apparently the leader of the group, has a staff that she is using to draw something out of the temple. Before Jaden can get a closer look he blacks out.

When he regains consciousness three people are standing over him, Rosh, and two others.

AS Jaden explains what happened a mystery is unlocked that will be the main plot of the game. After recounting the events one of the men, who we know to be Luke, tells the other to get the trainees back to the Academy.

Once there we are taken to a meeting hall where Luke introduces us to the Academy and what to expect. He then assigns two students to a master. Jaden and Rosh are setup with Kyle Katarn, one of Luke's trusted friends and advisers. He takes us to the training course so we can get accustomed to using our force powers and light sabers.
