In the midst of the ongoing controversy surrounding the hijab case in Madhya Pradesh's Damoh district, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has disclosed that instructions have been issued to investigate the matter. Expressing his stance on the issue, he stated, "I have become aware of the situation. It is unacceptable for any school to compel a girl to wear something that contradicts her cultural beliefs. I have initiated an investigation, and appropriate action will be taken based on the evidence gathered." The Chief Minister made this statement on June 1.
