A twisted recipe of the favourite palak paneer made into seekh kababs. Must try !
PALAK PANEER SEEKH KABAB
Ingredients
1 cup blanched and chopped spinach (palak)
½ cup grated cottage cheese (paneer)
1 tablespoon oil
½ teaspoon cumin seeds
1-2 green chillies, finely chopped
1 teaspoon chopped garlic
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2-3 tablespoons oats
Ghee for shallow-frying
Method
1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds and sauté for 30 seconds.
2. Add green chillies, mix and sauté for 15 seconds. Add garlic and sauté for a minute.
3. Add spinach, mix and sauté. Add salt and mix well. Transfer into a bowl and cool.
4. Add cottage cheese, cornstarch and oats and mix well.
5. Divide the prepared mixture into equal portions and wrap them around 2 skewers to prepare kababs.
6. Heat some ghee on a non-stick tawa. Place the prepared kababs on it and shallow-fry till fully done and golden from all sides.
7. Serve hot.
