Watch as I talk to members of the trust about the exciting plans for another half a mile of canal restoration in Lichfield, including new locks, new bridges, more nature and more water! We start at the famous Lock 24 and walk across cricket lane o see the site of the new bridge paid for by Persimmon and built by Staffordshire County Council. Then along to Gallows Reach, the lift bridge and the old wharf and London Road bridge. Under we get to the new sections at St Johns where persimmon have recently gifted a large stretch to the trust where another 2 locks and 2 bridges sit before going under the railway.
