The Storm Shadow is a long-range stealth cruise missile co-developed by the UK and France, which is normally air-launched. With a range of over 250 km, or 155 miles.
Anglo-French long-range cruise missile developed by Matra and British Aerospace, and now produced by MBDA. The missile is based on the French developed Apache anti-runway cruise missile, but differs in that it carries a unitary warhead instead of cluster munitions.
A more powerful cruise missile capable of being launched from surface ships and submarines, and capable of striking strategic and military targets from long distances with greater precision.
