The Uttar Pradesh ATS arrested 2 terrorists identified as Minhaj Ahmed and Maseeruddin, aka Mushir from Lucknow on Sunday. The UP police claimed to have busted an Al Qaeda unit that planned "terrorist attacks, including suicide bombings, in crowded areas of Lucknow", the Uttar Pradesh police reportedly said after their arrests. Arms, explosive materials have also been recovered in the search operation," an official informed. A cooker set to be used as a crude bomb was recovered from the home of one of the accused.
