DormAg
TAQADAM Showcase Pitch 2019
September 26, 2019
DormAg’s proprietary technology controls the dormancy cycle of crops enabling a satisfactory yield of temperate zone crops, even in regions where there is no winter cold. Global demand for food and feed is increasing, posing a unique challenge for temperate crops. Temperate crops go through a period of rest during winters, starting their new growth cycle only after 2 to 3 months of cold temperatures. Growing these crops in warmer clients like KSA usually requires large refrigeration facilities operating for several months per year resulting in high energy costs and low product yield. DormAg’s technologies are currently applied to potatoes and tulips.
