YANG STYLE 8 STEP Tai Chi Form - Forward and Back Facing (2019)
This video shows me performing the Yang Style 8 STEP Tai Chi Form. I complete it forward facing (0:00) and then complete it with my back to the camera (2:15).
Whilst performing the form I have tried to keep the movements clear and separate from each other so it is easier to see the individual components of the Tai Chi Form. Therefore it doesn't show the most fluid, continuous flow.
The form should be practised within your own limitations and range of mobility so listen to your own body and adapt as necessary. Also, there is nothing better than a LIVE SESSION so search out a qualified instructor nearby and try out a class.
Tai Chi and QiGong can deliver great benefits to your health and fitness, as well as to both your mental and physical wellbeing when practised on a regular basis.

Always exercise within your own comfort zone and within your own range of motion by listening to your body. Stay relaxed and tension free at the joints so that you do not overstretch. Focus on calm breathing, deeper than you would normally if you can, and really develop the feeling of each movement. FEEL YOUR OWN FLOW.
Remember to take a rest and pause the video anytime you need to. Have a bottle of water near by, but not in the way, so that you can have a drink if you need to. Remember to enjoy your practise and have fun.
