A remake of the game Star Control II (released to the open source community in 2002), the Ur-Quan Masters is available for modern operating systems including Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, and BSD. Personally, this is a nostalgic game from my single-digit years in the 90's, and I can say without a doubt this is my favorite game.

In this playthrough, I will be using the Ur-Quan Masters HD Beta 1 release, which is a forked development effort from the original UQM project. Links below (all are free to download, by the way):
