On Saturday 14th May 2022, the Branch Line Society ran a farewell railtour for the Southern class 455 EMUs. This was the last day of operation in passenger service for this fleet. The tour was operated by units 455835 and 455841. It started and ended at London Victoria station and covered many lines on the Southern network, including some routes rare for the class.
