Within a few hours of Eknath Shinde's oath as a Chief Minister, Shiv Sena has moved to supreme court to complete the hearing on a plea related to disqualification of 16 Rebel Shivsena MLAs. Earlier the supreme court had asked all the parties to file their affidavit on the issue by 12th July. As per the decision of SC disqualification will be on hold till next hearing of 11th July and court had also approved earlier planned floor test for MVA. However the same floor test was not conducted as the MVA government had already collapsed. So now Shiv Sena has challenged another floor test which is set to happen tomorrow. Shiv Sena also demanded as the suspension is still pending these MLAs should not participate in floor test.
