Cooking time :- 2 - 3 Minutes
Vetkoek ingredients :-
6 cups All purpose Flour
3 cups water
1 Tsp Salt
1Tbsp Oil
1 packet of yeast (7-10gr)
1/2 cup of Sugar
Knead all the ingredients together add some flour to assist if necessary. Let the dough rest for at least 30 min to an hour. then roll small hand size balls. rest for a couple of minutes and dunk them into the oil. turn when brown and easy to turn on their own if you bump them with the spoon. remove when both sides are golden brown. Eat and enjoy!!!
Ground beef (mince - filling)
1 Tsp Turmeric
1 Tsp Mustard seed
1.5 Tsp Curry powder
Bbq spice to taste
Salt & Pepper to taste
Dash of wine
Dash of Chutney
Simmer together for about 15 minutes.
This is so easy - you can do this at home like a legend.
