Hi LEGO fans! We're unboxing, speed building and reviewing the 2017 LEGO Creator London Bus, set number 10258. This 1,686 piece LEGO set is released on August 1st 2017 and was made available early to LEGO VIP members as a LEGO Store exclusive set in July 2017.
LEGO captures the 1950s London Routemaster bus in intricate detail. The red double decker bus is an iconic symbol of London and LEGO have captured almost every detail perfectly. Our LEGO review captures the whole LEGO experience from box design, through unboxing, building and playing with the final LEGO London Bus build.
LEGO's London Bus comes with features to allow you to switch between a 1950s LEGO Routemaster and a more modern London tourist bus, including alternate license plates and transit advertising for the 1950s or modern times. The LEGO bus also includes a spiral staircase, discarded chewing gum and a forgotten umbrella.
The roof of the LEGO London bus is removable to access the seats onboard and the top deck of this double decker bus is also removable to access the lower level with the driver's cab and the opening hood (bonnet) to reveal the LEGO Routemaster's engine.
