The Lantern Rite Patch is bringing with it the end of Natlan's Archon Quest, culminating with the Traveler and Mavuika's battle against the Abyss Heart, Gosoythoth, who appears to have taken the form of the Sovereign of Fire, Xiuhcoatl.

Furthermore, the 7 revealed characters in the Special Program are (from Left to Right): Iansan, Dahlia, Ifa, Skirk, a new Inazuman female, Varesa, and a new unknown female. This last character is possibly from Fontaine or Nod-Krai.
