Before Sonos, Apple and even Bose's brand of speakers, there was Marshall, which originated in England and was literally behind the most famous guitar players of today, all thanks to the amps that it was producing. Jim Marshall - the creator of Marshall was an English businessman who happened to change and shape the rock music industry over the last 50 years. Most people know him as the Father of Loud or the creator of the Marshall Brand.

Aside from being the loudest sounding amps that were absolutely blowing away the competition and every single audience no matter how big, Marshall was associated with a very specific sound and distortion.

Grasping all of Marshall's history and examining its traits, we look at this Woburn home speaker knowing it is the most prominent Bluetooth speaker that the company has to offer, and suddenly there's some serious respect in the air.

Just like in the past, even though the volume goes to 10 (not 11) 99% of the time I keep it at one or two at the most.

This 18lbs Bluetooth speaker is so loud that if I turn it to 5, I can no longer hear my thoughts.

Let me point out that this is not a studio monitor. You cannot expect the cleanest, most accurate sound, and frankly, you shouldn't. All to the contrary, this is a Marshall, and it sounds exactly like one - loud and earth shattering!
