This a great easy to make dessert sauce in a pinch!! It pairs well with all sorts of desserts including, cheesecake, ice cream, pound cake, pies, it is just simply endless. Also, be creative. Experiment with other types of berries also. Mix n match!

Ingredients:
1 Pt. Chopped strawberries
1 Cup Water
1 Cup Sugar
1 Tbsp. Cornstarch
2 Tbsp. Cold water
Procedure:
1. Cook the strawberries with 1 Cup of water over med heat for 15 minutes. Covered.
2. Mix the cold water with the cornstarch to form a slurry. Use your fingers; It's easier.
3. Lower the heat for the strawberry mixture and add 1/2 the slurry.
4. Stir and allow it to thicken. Add more if the sauce is not thick enough.
5. Puree the sauce and chill for at least an hour.
6. Serve with your favorite dessert.
