Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today we're gonna take a look at these Mo ride two step quick connect RV steps. Now, if you have ever stepped into a camper that has those standard metal steps, you probably felt that scary springboard effect that makes you reach for your handle. That bounce occurs because those pullout steps never touch the ground. Mo rides quick connect steps have adjustable legs that study the steps on the ground so you can feel safe using them.
Also, the steps are detachable which means that they aren't left out in the elements to rust or warp like factory steps. Now these steps fit a threshold to ground height between 21 1/2 inches and 27 1/2 inches. And these removable entry steps will make it easy to climb in and out of your travel trailer or fifth wheel. And because they are detachable, you won't get locked out if you park in a tight storage lot where you can't fold the steps down. Now, simply squeeze these paddle latches that you see right here to unclip the steps from the brackets that you will install beneath your campers doorframe with the included hardware.
So this is gonna be very easy, again there's the paddle latch there, and that's just going to easily and securely clip onto these brackets that you are going to install. The measurement of these brackets and the spacing between the mounting holes can be found on this product page. So again, that's a very nice feature of these detachable steps and this is a stable design that is not going to bounce and it's gonna be free from wobbling. The weight capacity is 500 pounds. Now these legs extend to help you, especially with situations where you might have uneven ground or uneven terrain and they do adjust individually for that maximum ground contact to provide that stability that you are going to need.
And what I like about these is there's no pins to pull. To adjust these, they have a quick release mechanism here. So right here, you see this lever or button, however you'd like to describe it. And I'm gonna be careful here because I have the steps set here a little precariously. So I am going to push in that lever.
And as you can see, those legs can be adjusted. And what I like about this is to then pull the leg out, you do not need to depress that mechanism. You can just simply pull the leg as you can see and it locks into place. So I'm back to where I was and my steps are stable. So that's a great feature. It's gonna be very easy, very quick to use with this quick release mechanism. You're not gonna have to worry about messing around with pins to release those legs. I do wanna mention that the leg extension length are at one inch increments for a total of 13 inches. Now the safety features provide traction and reduce that potential for slipping in wet conditions. And as I hope you can see here, there's a texture. These steps are textured. It's surface has this rough texture to it with these what I call ribs that run along the width of each step. But then we also have this non-slip tread tape that's going to help keep you from tripping. Let me give you some measurements here, just to give you an idea of how big these step platforms are. The overall width we are sitting right at about 23 3/8 inches wide. Now this first step is narrower than the second step, our top step. So the first step, the depth we are sitting right at eight inches, and then the depth of our top step, we are sitting right at, let's say about 10 1/2 inches. So that the top step is you come down from your RV or camper is gonna be wider to give you that sure stability that you're looking for. You're gonna have a nice wider surface to step on as you're coming down from your camper. Now, these steps are made in the USA and the lightweight construction is going to make handling these steps virtually effortless, very easy. These aluminum step platforms are rustproof and scratch resistant, and the powder coded steel frame is going to help these steps resist rust and corrosion. I did fail to mention, and I wanna mention that to you real quick, that the drop rise from the top of the bottom step to the top of the top step here, we are a little over nine inches. So again, just kind of gives you the idea of the distance between those steps. Now these are going to arrive preassembled and the mounting hardware that you see there on the table is gonna be used to quickly and easily mount and install these mounting brackets underneath your RV door. Well, that's gonna conclude our look today. I do hope that it was hel
