The History of Balekambang Park
"Park as Symbol of Parents Love"

Balekambang Park, originally named Partini Tuin and Partinah Bosch due to his affection for the daughters was built by KGPAA Mangkunegoro VII, on October 26th 1921.

The park was devided into two main areas : Partini Tuin and Partinah Bosch.
The 1st park referred to as Partini Tuin (the name of KGPAA Mangkunegoro VII's eldest daughters)
The 2nd park referred to as Partinah Bosch.

Nowadays, the two parks are popularly known as Taman Balekambang.
