All 3 are very much worth growing if you have the room. American persimmon trees grow into tall large trees but can be kept in check with pruning to an extent. If space is an issue and you live in zone 7 and up go with an Asian type they are more compact but less hardy so not an option for anyone in the colder parts of the world.
American persimmons are a deer's favorite wild fruit and they will come from miles around to visit your trees. This is great for hunters but can limit your harvest if you are growing them for you to eat. One good thing about persimmons is one tree produces so much fruit once established that there will be plenty to go around.
