the translation was done by copying each line of the transcript from the PDF file of the French incident report into a spreadsheet, and then I used GPT-4 to generate code which turned that into subtitles, which was hard because all of the different sound sources were each in their own columns. And then I used GPT-4 to translate the subtitles into English. And then I asked a family member with a Romanian fiance if they could help, and their mother ended up suggesting a couple of changes. The original transcript was in French which had been translated from Romanian.
