Korean actress Kim Sun-young has claimed the Best Actress Award at the 20th Asian Film Festival for her role in the movie "Dream Palace."
The announcement was made on Wednesday local time at the Cinema Farnese in Rome.
"Dream Palace" shares the story of a woman who moves into a newly-built apartment complex hoping for a fresh start but becoming embroiled in a fresh broader dispute.
The judges reportedly heaped praise on Kim's commitment to carrying the movie on her shoulders.
Separately the festival has introduced 32 Asian films since the end of last month.
