It was Nietzsche that said “The overman...Who has organized the chaos of his passions, given style to his character, and become creative. Aware of life's terrors, he affirms life without resentment.”
First let’s define organized chaos and how ADHD is related.
Organize chaos is difficult situation or process that appears chaotic while still having enough order to achieve your goals.
It’s having a messy house but knowing exactly where everything is, or planning for a trip and making a list for what to pack but forgetting to pack your toothbrush.
One main reason why people with ADHD in large are the ones who suffer from organized chaos is because our brains actually are stimulated by the chaos. When a person with ADHD has created an environment that is organized and the tasks of cleaning become more maintained the actual task is boring, therefore the ADHD brain is not enticed by the habitual routine of staying organized.
Since ADHD’ers are in a constant phase of movement either physically or mentally when you have developed a sense of organization the feeling is foreign and can start to create anxiety leading you into a downward spiral of disorganization again.
