A long freight is seen westbound at Elmhurst Illinois just west of the York Street crossing. This mixed freight was pulled by CN # 2460 leading, and the "Blue Beast" CN # 2460 was helping with power. CN # 5534 is a GF-638b, and CN # 2460 is a C40-8W. You'll also notice the big "I.C." stencil which suggest that this blue monster was once directly part of the old Illinois Central Railroad roster. I have seen these blue locomotives previously, I even recorded, "CN Blue Brute in Broadview," which was CN # 2465. Check my playlists for more rail action as well as more videos at this place.
