5,000 Islamists marched on the Turkish capital, Ankara Wednesday (24/6) protesting at a ban on religious attire imposed by universities accross Turkey. The demonstrators had turned out to add their support to 60 young Islamic women who had marched from Istanbul in protest at the ban.
