Kelly Glick and Darlene Mack, both graduates of Bowling Green State University, are co-leaders of the Findlay City Schools Trauma-Informed Care Initiative. In this Talk, Kelly and Darlene discuss the importance of having a trauma-informed disposition in the field of education and beyond. As a school counselor, Leadership Studies doctoral student, educator and business owner, Darlene Mack believes in the importance of developing students into productive citizens. Mack works passionately to develop trauma informed organizations by providing trauma informed care and Mindfulness professional development in education and business settings.
Kelly Glick has presented at eighteen regional, state, and national conferences on topics which include emotional intelligence and Trauma-Informed Care (TIC). Her doctoral dissertation on the outcomes of TIC training was published in 2017. Glick serves as an administrator in Findlay City Schools.
