As of February 2020 there is 4 Düwag GT8 'Pendel' trams in service in Sofia, Bulgaria. They were manufactured in 1960 and delivered to Sofia in 1995 from the city of Bonn, Germany. Initially there were 13 delivered, but only 4 remain in service as of today. They are the oldest trams in service in Sofia, being nearly 60 years old. They are regularly on service on line 23.
