Begin by sitting upright in a chair with no armrests with your arms straight and relaxed by your sides.
Now slowly lean your body as far to one side as is comfortably possible.
Once achieved, carefully return to your upright position and then repeat the exercise to the other side.
The movement should be smooth and controlled and you should continue to breathe normally.
To finish, slowly carefully return to your starting position.
