This is one of my favorite trails in the Santa Monica Mountains. Particularly this time of the year when everything is still green and has wild flowers. However, after rain, some of the creek crossings can get challenging. Also note that there may be a ton of poison oak near the trail. I love that there is water available just to the side of the trailhead. It is at least a mile from the parking lot to the trailhead and it can get hot out here. This has saved me many times on long runs in this area. Thankful for such great places to run and explore.
