"Ghost of Perdition" from Opeth's "Ghost Reveries" album (2005).
Now let's see how many people are still interested in RIFF EXERCISE when it's not Tool hehe. But seriously, I do believe that this is a nice opportunity to play some of those really cool riffs once again. I didn't want to just spam like there's no tomorrow so I thought it would be nice to follow up those 3 big Tool riffs with a classic Opeth riff. I think it's one of their most popular songs, but it's also a song that immediately starts with a challenging riff. So I decided to make a little hybrid riff for this one. You only get to play that dissonant fill once in 4 bars during the original song, but I had to put it in there since it is very rewarding once you're finally able to play this fill without a single problem.
