Prior to World War 2, German innovators would create a revolutionary fuel cannister. This would help the German forces as they moved across the fronts of Europe and Africa. Allied powers would come to realize its importance with the British giving it the nick name 'Jerry Can'. In this video, we look at the German fuel cannisters origins and why it is called a Jerry Can.
