This is the second act of Tristan Tzara's "The Gas Heart" (1921) which is a Dadaist (early 20th century dramatic movement) play. This means that the play was intended to irritate and discomfort the audience while having no logical patterns, dialogue, or subversive meanings. Dadaism celebrates nonsense for the sake of nonsense in an avant garde way, often with great hostility towards the spectator.
For the sake of this production (which was an assignment) this means that the piece is intentionally awkward, the video is intentionally blurry, and everything from the set to the dialogue intentionally make no sense.
If this piece seems uncomfortable or irritating-good! It has accomplished its goal- if you have any questions about Dadaism in general, I recommend looking up Tristan Tzara's "Dadaist Manifesto," which is very short and explains the movement quite well.
