William Conrad is out west "barnstorming" so he can earn a few bucks to replace his aging Stinson biplane. After he lands outside a small town in Kansas he heads for a local watering hole. There he meets a beautiful young lady who just happens to have a briesfcase stuffed full of (stolen) cash. She forces him (at gunpoint) to fly to Mexico, and they almost make it too! Unfortunately his old plane isn't up to the task, so they end up crash-landing in the Mexican desert. With the exception of a small village full of devilish people they are most certainly lost "This Side of Nowhere." Great story, excellent sound quality.
