Since the Movie "Dirty Dancing" came out (and yes, I do once in awhile dig me some "Chick Flicks" as we macho men call them) I have always loved this song. Sometimes I wish Patrick Swayze would have purued a music career on the side, he was that good. I think we all miss this passionate actor/singer who lived his life - outside of hollywood - and had a family her cherished and a world of loved ones about him that meant more than acting or singing to him. I never met the man; but I loved his movies and I had seen an interview once that didn't take a rocket scientist to know he was being very serious and down to earth about the real love he had in his life, and no - it wasn't all the hype behind acting or singing...it was all about people.

I just hope I did the song justice here and that, over time, I can live up to the things that matter more to me than breathing, music, or anything else of this world... My joy is found in Jesus Christ. And I do mean that. You see, if He is the most important thing in my life then everything else will come into it's own for me...not necessarily here on this rock called earth; but in Heaven. "SEEK YE FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD - AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS...AND ALL THESE THINGS SHALL BE ADDED UNTO YOU..." (AS THE OLD HYMN GOES - IT'S ALSO FROM OUT OF THE BIBLE)
