Recently, former Prime Minister of India Dr. Manmohan Singh passed away. His last rites were performed with full state honours at Nigambodh Ghat in New Delhi. He will surely be remembered in history as the architect of economic liberalisation in the country and for pulling the country's economy out of a major crisis. He was the first Sikh person to become the Prime Minister of the country. He was the Prime Minister of India from 2004 to 2014.Let us tell you that Dr. Manmohan Singh was born on 26 September 1932 in the Punjab province of undivided India.
In other section, Recently, the Indian Army has installed a statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj near Pangong Tso Lake in Ladakh. This statue has been installed near the LAC near the Chinese border at an altitude of 14300 feet. In such a situation, the discussion about its installation has intensified. Actually, the local leaders of Ladakh have raised questions about the importance of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the culture of Ladakh. They question that the opinion of the local communities should have been taken in the installation of the statue. Along with this, questions have also been raised on the unique importance of the ecology and environment of Ladakh.
