By request, talking about how to grow queen palms indoors. Growing queen palms as houseplants is becoming more popular as more nurseries are carrying them in place of other common palm trees due to availability changes from many growers. Queen palms are sturdy and reliable plants for many locations, but they do not have a lot of longevity for being grown in the home due to their fast growth rate. Provided enough light and warmth with an understanding for keeping them hydrated, they should do fine in most homes for a few years. These are easy to grow palm trees and shouldn't be much trouble for most people. There are a lot of great alternatives for being kept inside, I'll list some nice palms for keeping indoors below.

Palms for growing indoors
1. Chamaedorea elegans / neanthe bella palm / parlour palm - all the same plant, just a lot of names
2. Kentia palm - Howea forsteriana
3. Bamboo palms
4. Foxtail palms
5. Fishtail palms
6. Maya Palm Tree (chamaedorea hooperiana)
