The PDS Cuttings Bed Agitator (CBA) subs are a derivation of PDS’s patented enhanced performance drill pipe design. This technology enhances cuttings bed removal in horizontal and ERD wells and has been used successfully in ERD wells around the world. The use of a centre gauge ring with Diamond Backed
wear protection offers a number of benefits. The smooth surface of the flat diamond discs (25% diamond
by weight) reduces torque in the string. It also offers vastly higher wear protection than conventional hard
banding. With gauge ring being 25x more wear resistant than Tungsten Carbide.
