BMC has three new iterations of its adventure gravel bike, the URS, plus a wholly new electric version, the URS LT AMP.
I test rode two of them:
-the top-end URS 01 One, with 20mm of travel front and rear and the new Red XPLR AXS paired with an Eagle transmission
-the all-new electric URS LT AMP with 300w of power assist
I had a few little issues but generally enjoyed both bikes.
How does a heavy gravel e-bike feel above 10,000 feet when you run out of battery? I went up there and found out.
In this video I’ll tell you what’s new, what I like, what I don’t, what went wrong on my test rides and what went right.
