My name is Fatai Orekoya, the CEO of A1 Services Laundry and Dry Cleaning. I will be sharing my story on how I started this Laundry business. I started in 2009 under the staircase in my apartment.

Around that time I had no job, I was broke. I was the street guy that just had to hustle to put food on the table. I started this business with zero capital.

Then, people used to call me "Alagbafo" meaning washer man, I was mocked, laughed at whenever I go to people's houses to pick up cloth for washing. I was persistent, determined and I kept doing it. Three months into the business, I got a washing machine and moved from the staircase to a rented shop.

From that time till now, the business has expanded.

Today, we have over 5 branches in Lagos. With my years of experience in this business, I have trained over 50 students who now have their own laundry business and are doing well.
