In May, @AbuFiniin and @noplaybookprod from the KOTC team ventured into the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus—a de facto state in the northern part of Cyprus, recognised only by Turkey.

Over three days, they immersed themselves in the culture, from intense football derbies (Yaşa Fenerbahçe!) to thrilling car rallies, and even secured an interview with the President. Our one-hour feature documentary captures it all.

The situation in Cyprus is both delicate and complex, but our aim was to hear directly from Turkish Cypriots (who are pro independence), unfiltered and raw. The Cyprus story isn’t black and white; it’s filled with nuance and shades of grey. Understanding multiple perspectives is crucial for progress. This documentary offers a side of the story many haven’t heard.
