What's wrong with this KT76 an 1176 Compressor. That is often a question asked of me by anyone interested in the Klark Teknik KT-76. My answer remains the same. If you are a purist who likes how an acutal Universal Audio 1176 Compressor sounds when the transformers saturate. Then maybe this compressor is not for you. However, if you simply want to use the Klark Teknik 1176 to manage the dynamics of your signal from your logic ProX or Pro Tools DAW in a hybrid mixing setup, then this compressor is for you at less than the price of a Universal Audio 1176.
