Watermark farms and scores in New Wolrd are a hot topic recently with many players criticizing the system as being mundane and unnecessary. In this video, I show another great solo watermark farm, arguably one of the best in the game because this elite has much more valuable loot drops, and this farm offers the potential to increase your watermark score all the way to 600.
The farm itself is located on the southeast edge of SM in an area called Spryla Tower. Here a level 64 elite mob named Fay the Last Protector provides an unparalleled opportunity to solo increase your watermark scores all the way to 600. The silver bordered mob normally has a respawn timer of about 5 minutes, but moving to this specific location close to the tower can reduce that timer to two minutes.
I have been doing this farm for the past three days for a total of about 7 hours, and I’ve already significantly increased many of my watermarks. To kill Fay, start by killing the wolf and archer located to the right of the tower to give yourself space. Fay has two abilities. One is good to dodge, but the other is necessary to dodge. The ability where he jumps into the air needs to be dodged or else you take a significant chunk of damage and remain poisoned for 20 seconds. Besides that ability, he can easily be soloed even while wearing average luck gear. If I am with a duo or a trio, I wear all my luck gear to receive the best possible chance to get the good drops.
After killing him and looting the nearby chest, climb back up this stone to wait 2 minutes for his reduced respawn timer. The immediate surrounding area offers some nice activities to do while you wait to begin your farm again. There is azoth spring water nearby along with star metal, elite chests, other mobs to kill for gear, wolves to kill to significantly increase your logging, the list goes on. This watermark farm is one of the best in the game so enjoy!
