How to inflate the tyres on a road bike.
This is a very basic job that most cyclist will need to do.
Firstly, remove the plastic dust cap.
Unscrew the little locking nut on the inner core and press down to open the valve.
Select the pressita nozzle on either a track or hand pump and inflate to the correct pressure as indicated on the wall of the tyre.
If you are using a track pump with a pressure gauge it will be easy to see exactly how much air you are putting in the true. If you are using a hand pump, just pump it up as hard as possible until you can get to a track pump.
I would recommend checking tyre pressures on a weekly basis as they can naturally deflate over time.
