In this episode we continue our search for the elusive Miner’s Cabin high above the Desert Queen Mine. The coordinates we obtained two days ago were inaccurate. After more research I was able to piece together waypoints from a variety of sources and come up with an alternate route. This time we are hiking up from the Split Rock Day Use Area instead of the Desert Queen Mine. Although this route is shorter, it is a lot more strenuous. What better gift to each other for our third wedding anniversary, than to find the Miner’s Cabin we have been searching for.
