The bells of St Stephen-by-Saltash are a magnificent Taylor six. The 2nd and 3rd cast in 1897, Treble, 4th, 5th and Tenor cast in 1934. They hang in a cast Iron frame that also dates from this time.
The six bells are cast as the back 6 of an 8 and are actually hung in an 8 bell frame, they would make an excellent octave. They sound superb both inside and out, what you would expect from vintage Taylor bells, they are however slightly odd struck.
Tenor 15-3-15 in E.
