We talked to my mom about what it was like when Anjali came out, meeting Sufi for the first time, how she talks to conservative family members, and more!

Anjali's mom is an Indian immigrant living in the US, with extended family in India and Canada. Note that her advice to kids coming out to their parents is based on her experience when Anjali came out. If you live in a country or home where it may be unsafe to come out, remember that it's okay to wait to come out when it's more safe to do so.
