On 7th June, 2021 Income Tax Department has launched their new website, www.incometax.gov.in. From this day onwards all the filing related activities will be conducted in this website only.
Income Tax Department has sent messages to reregister digital signature certificates (DSC) in new income tax website.
Digital Signature Certificate already registered in old website www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in cannot be carried forward to the new Income Tax Website www.incometax.gov.in and hence the Income Tax Department has asked the assesses to again register their Digital Signature Certificate with new Income Tax Website www.incometax.gov.in
Register the Digital Signature Certificate or DSC in Income Tax Website in the morning and complete your work. DSC can be registered in Income tax new portal at around 6:pm without any problem.
