This video highlights the most striking example of an Indian female monarch - Rudramadevi, the Kakatiya Queen of Warangal who ruled for over three decades. Popularly known as Rudradeva Maharaja, she transcends gender distinctions and superseded many of her predecessors and successors because of her assertive female individuality. Rudramadevi, a legendary queen in King's image epitomized the essence of indomitable courage after taking charge of the Kakatiya kingdom in the 13th century and people of the region still cherish her in their memories.
It would be helpful for the school and college students while they pursue their studies in History, for the aspirants of various competitive examinations and for the general public.
